Ever since Adam was young he found himself reaching deep into stories and his imagination.

"I expressed myself by telling my friends wild stories about dump trucks full of candy being delivered to me from my grandparents, or far away islands at the bottom of the world that I visited with my dad. It wasn't long before I realized telling other kids stories like this was called lying. Eventually I realized I should write all of my "lies" down, instead of telling people they were going to happen. It was more of a lonely process but I've been doing it ever since" - says Adam Sherman.

He discovered soon after that his friends were eager to get back involved in his stories if he pointed a video camera at them. Flash forward to now as an adult - what started as childhood lying has manifested itself into writing and filmmaking.

" I use basically the same process, it comes from the same desire and ends up as a story for people to see and hear. "
